Yellow Beach
The Yellow Beach restaurant on Pinel Island is our favorite of the three restaurants there. Choice entrees include the ribs, the tuna “flip-flop” (seared: just flipped on the grill, flopped and served) or the grilled lobster – you can choose your own from the cage near the dock. The baked potato is the best side dish, and the camembert flambe is easily the best way to start.
The restaurant itself is comprised of a number of thatched huts on the beach, plus one breezy second story table and one table on a giant cart that has been wheeled out into the sea.
