Lighthouse Reef
Located just outside Half Moon Bay, Lighthouse Reef is an easily accessible site that has large sandy patches, making it an ideal place for coursework. It is also a great location for a night dive. The shallows are between 20 and 40 feet deep, while the adjoining wall drops off to 130 feet. On our night dive at Lighthouse Reef we were lucky to have a fantastic encounter with a Caribbean Reef Octopus.
