Chris’s Reef

This previously unknown site lies a third of the way towards the heel of Anguilla when heading out from Marigot. Marked only by a few small fish pot buoys, it turned out to be a lovely reef resembling an underwater prairie, complete with seagrass tumbleweeds. A few coral ledges played the role of underwater mesas and we were escorted by a pair of Almaco Jacks. Definitely a site that deserves more investigation in the future!
